Ovis Hill Farm Homeschool Day
by CHEFS Admin - Wednesday, 6 April 2011, 1:11 AM
Ovis Hill Farm is a local sheep farm located in Timmonsville, SC. We have approximately 500 sheep. All tours focus on the importance of farms in our society, and the process of converting raw wool into usable fabrics. While at the farm, students will have an opportunity to feed baby lambs, make butter, and take a wagon ride. The wagon ride visits all the animals on the farm stopping for a sheep-herding demonstration with the farm Border collie.
