Ovis Hill Farm, located in Timmonsville, SC, is hosting a Homeschool Day on Friday, April 24th. The tour begins at 9:30 AM.

Ovis Hill Farm is a local sheep farm with approximately 500 sheep. All tours focus on the importance of farms in our society, and the process of converting raw wool into usable fabrics.

While at the farm, students will have an opportunity to feed baby lambs and take a wagon ride which visits all the animals on the farm stopping for a sheep-herding demonstration with the farm border collies. After a picnic lunch, students will have the options of painting gourd bird-houses ($5) and making wool bracelets ($1).

Admission for the basic tour will be $6 per person (3 yrs and older). For more information, or to register your group, please contact Heather Perry at ovishillfarm@aol.com or 843-383-4961.

Reservations should be made no later than Friday, April 17th. Please visit us on the web at www.ovishillfarm.com for directions and more information.
